We offer both conventional and integrative treatments.
It's about finding the right fit for you.

Conventional Methods

This method of treatment involves the judicial use of medications to alter mood, sensation, thinking, and behavior.

This method of treatment, it's often referred to as "talk therapy". There are various techniques within psychotherapy.

Diagnostics and Assessments

Urinary Neurotransmitter Testing

This assessment tool provides biochemical insight to your body. The test results allows the practioner to see the biochemical levels and balance of neurotransmitters within your brain. This allows for more accurate medication identification and dosing.

We have this testing conducted through NeuroScience.

Pharmacogenetic Testing

This assessment tool provides insight into how your individual genetic make-up will affect your response to medications. This allows for more accurate medication identification and dosing.

Here at Shalva, we use GeneSight.

This assessment tool aids in the providing neurological insight to your brain's functioning. This quantitative analysis method allows for a report to be produced identifying electrical patterns of your brain.

We use a combination of BrainMaster and Neuroguide.

Neuropsychological Assessment

This method of assessment aids in diagnosis and allows for measurement of psychological functions linked to brain structures and pathways.

Integrative and Holistic Approaches

This therapeutic modality uses real-time displays of brain activity to alter the brain's functioning through a feedback process.

This therapeutic modality uses a software to display activity of an automatic body function and allows the practioner to train an individual to obtain control.

We use HeartMath.

The BioMat

This therapeutic modality combines Far Infrared light and Negative Ion technology with Amethyst crystals to provide an effective treatment across many areas.

Functional Medicine

This approach focuses on the optimal functioning of the body and its organs using holistic methods. Treatment plans are customized by asking the how and why of illness and restoring health by addressing the root causes of disease for each individual. A person's constitution or "make-up", genetics, family history, neurotransmitter levels and biochemical map are all significant in medical determinations.

This 200-year-old therapeutic modality uses natural substances for treatment of a wide span of diagnoses and conditions. An in-depth profile of the individual's constitution is gathered and recommendations are issued by a psychiatrist.
